We have been buying seafood from Roses since the early 80s. Everything is always fresh. They have deveined jumbo shrimp, crab claws, scallops, lump crabmeat just to name few things. Additionally they have precut fish as well as whole fresh fish that they will dress for you. They also have a great frozen area with things you cannot find any where else. We have bought frozen conch, large lobsters, calamari steaks, Alaskan king crab, and clams and mussels in shell, The service is pleasant and prompt, and the ambiance is that of a well cared for fish market. They also have a web site.
My wife and i have been going here for many years. The seafood is always fresh and you can tell the fish cutters how you want the fish. Either skin on or off filets or how you want them to cut it up. The ambiance once you walk in is more of a family fish market. The ladies who are all family members behind the counter are polite, helpful, and always ready to help you. The service is fantastic from the fish cutters to the incredible ladies running the fish counter. Rose's is a great place for crabs, crawfish (when in season), fish, shrimp, and anything seafood.
